Clare spent over eight years with the Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Michigan (Grand Rapids) as a Research and Writing Attorney before starting her own practice and legal-research firm. Colleagues have sought her research and writing skills, hiring her to draft their motions, sentencing memos, appellate briefs, and Supreme Court petitions. She joined her colleague Scott Graham in 2019.
